Marijuana has long known to have medicinal properties and have been used for therapeutic purposes for ages... Even in the USA and Canada the government allows certain patients like those with migraine etc to possess and grow small amounts of marijuana to take as medicines as and when needed.

What future doctors? Doctors even today strongly advocate that the blanket ban on marijuana be lifted. There had been many prominent personalities advocating the lifting on the ban imposed on this social drug that has countless medicinal properties.
