I’ve always thought it strange that there were people out there who allegedly had a brain who thought we did not impact our environment. If that impact is positive or negative depends on our actions, obviously.

I’m a bit puzzled by her environmental stance. She’s worked as a fisher(wo)man, likes to hunt - and apparently wants to trash the planet? Or is in denial about the trashing of the planet? I don’t understand it at all.

Usually people who hunt and fish realize that environmentalism is in their best interests in the long run. Her hubby isn’t high enough in the BP hierarchy for me to think they’re benefitting financially enough to offset the price their grandchildren will have to pay for their anti-environmentalism.

Very odd to me indeed.

Just becasue someone knows the facts about global warming and SOLAR CYCLE 24 (you’d better researchthat one)...
Doesn’t mean they want to destroy our environment.

Man caused global warming is a lie.

The proof has been out for quite along time, but the same freakish people that hype Obama, bring us man caused global warming lies.

SOLAR CYCLE 24..

Dude.. this is what I research and do for a living...

Wonder if McCain will look to ask for a rethink on his appointee for VP. Her stances on several issues does not match that of McCain. One of the hotbeds for discussion these days is global warming and to display such an ill-informed and arrogant attitude towards climate change may not sit too well with the informed voters. McCain camps has to get the tuning right very quickly.

The impact Human behavior has had on Global Warming is not any where near as significant as most people like to claim it is. The whole global warming thing is a sham anyway, do you notice how it is no longer ”global warming” but now ”global climate change” by moving to that phrase any change in climate, whether it be cooling or warming, can be used as ”see I told you so”. This change occurred because warming is not actually occurring and most scientists are predicting that the globe is entering a period of temperature stagnation or global cooling - a mini-ice age if you will. And do you know what is causing it? Not humans, it is the inactivity of the Sun. Who knew that the one celestial body that heat our planet would ultimately be responsible for whether the planet cools or warms (~note the sarcasm). The whole global warming caused by man argument has very little merit and is largely a creation of political activists for political gain.

Please enlighten me, Mr. Swint, and point me to the peer-reviewed research which conclusively shows that ”The impact Human behavior has had on Global Warming is not any where near as significant as most people like to claim it is” and furthermore demonstrates that it is the ”inactivity of the Sun” that is causing ”global climate change”.

I can’t believe that there are people out there who still merrily keep believing that man has had nothing to do with the fact that climate is changing.

Even if sun was behind all the changes and even if planet’s cooling all the time, it still does not give us any reason to think that emissions are in no way damaging.

Agnosticism on such an important issue is perhaps what is most of all damaging for the cause of planet Earth.
